Keolis Ile-de-France reached an important milestone in the UrbanLoop project with the laying of its first rail on December 19, in the presence of the Minister Delegate for Transport, Clément Beaune.

The work, launched in September, will enable autonomous vehicles guided by AI algorithms to travel in complete safety and provide uninterrupted service to the Ile des Loisirs fan zone in Saint-Quentinen- Yvelines from spring 2024. Running on ultra-low-voltage rail power, the UrbanLoop is the world's most energy-efficient autonomous vehicle!
This project contributes to the digitalization and decarbonization of transport, and marks a commitment to French technology.
