Included in a driver’s daily tasks:
● Driving vehicles in accordance with safety rules and along the defined routes
● Welcoming passengers onboard and giving them help and information
● Selling or checking tickets and/or passes onboard
● Performing basic checks on the vehicle, and keeping the environment in mind all the time (eco-driving, sustainable practices)
Depending on the mode of transport (trams and metros for example) additional specific procedures may apply: checking of onboard equipment, strictly following departure and stopping procedures, adapting to weather conditions, vehicle crowding or operational constraints, etc.
