What is digital accessibility?

Digital accessibility aims to ensure that digital services are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, whether visual, auditory, motor, cognitive or temporary.

It involves designing clear content, interfaces that can be used with a keyboard or assistive technologies, and services compatible with all devices and usage contexts.

At Keolis, digital accessibility is part of a broader approach to inclusion and equal access to information and services, for the benefit of all passengers.

Keolis and digital accessibility

Making mobility accessible to everyone is at the heart of Keolis’ mission. This ambition fully applies to digital services, which are a key entry point to mobility information and services.

In accordance with Article 47 of French Law No. 2005-102 of 11 February 2005, Keolis is committed to making its websites, mobile applications, digital content and tools accessible.

The Group’s digital services are designed, developed and operated to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities, older users, people with temporary limitations, or those using services in constrained environments such as noise, low lighting or poor network connectivity.

Our commitments to digital accessibility

Keolis is committed to:

  • placing digital accessibility at the same level of importance as quality, safety and service performance;

  • complying with applicable accessibility standards and frameworks, including RGAA and RAAM, across all digital scopes;

  • integrating accessibility from the design phase and throughout the entire lifecycle of digital projects, from design to maintenance;

  • carrying out accessibility testing, including the use of assistive technologies and, where possible, testing with users concerned;

  • continuously measuring and improving accessibility levels, with transparent communication on results and action plans;

  • providing accessible contact channels and a route for escalation in the event of difficulties accessing digital services.
