For two months, 100 volunteer drivers - ambassadors for Keolis - provided transport for the 20 national teams. 50 Keolis coaches were chartered to transport the players and technical staff from their base camps to stations and airports, as well as to the nine stadiums where they played their matches.
Keolis provided transport for fans in Bordeaux, Lille and Lyon, the host cities for 15 matches. Keolis played an essential role in managing the flow and safety of fans travelling to and from the stadiums and fan zones. Keolis also operated public transport in the towns where the base camps of national teams were hosted: Romania and Fiji around Bordeaux, New Zealand in Lyon, Ireland in Tours, Portugal in Perpignan and Italy in Bourgoin-Jallieu.
