The west of the Roissy Pays de France

• The board of Île-de-France Mobilités has awarded 61 bus lines serving the west of the Roissy Pays de France district to Keolis from 1 August 2023 for a period of six years. The contract also includes the operation of the Filéo service, one of the largest transport-on-demand (ToD) services in Europe.

• This award reinforces Keolis’s position as a mobility operator in Île-de-France.

With a fleet of nearly 170 vehicles, this 61-line network will serve 29 municipalities including Goussainville, Gonesse, Louvres, Survilliers, Fosses, Garges-lès-Gonesse, Villiers-le-Bel, Saint-Denis, Paris CDG airport and the stations on the northern section of the RER D railway line. Already available in the municipalities of Louvres, Survilliers and Fosses, the evening bus service will also cover Arnouville, Goussainville and Garges-lès-Gonesse from August 2023. The contract also includes the N140 and N143 Noctilien night bus lines and the new N146 line, which will serve the stations on the northern section of the RER D railway line (between the Gare de l’Est and Survilliers-Fosse station) from August 2023.

Over the course of the contract, Keolis is committed to supporting Île-de-France Mobilités and the Roissy Pays de France district authority in continuing the energy transition on the transport network. The conversion of the Louvres and Gonesse bus depots to NGV operation will be completed by 2025, and the conversion of the Goussainville depot is scheduled for late April 2023. In all, 64 buses will be powered by natural gas.

With the Île-de-France Filéo service, Keolis offers a transport on demand service that meets the travel needs of employees from all the municipalities neighbouring Paris CDG airport (spread across the departments of Val-d’Oise, Seine-et-Marne and Seine-Saint-Denis), most of whom work shifts or at night.

Under the new contract, Keolis offers a more joined-up service between the different Filéo lines and the Survilliers and Othis virtual ToD services are converted into “zoned” ToD to adapt to the different working patterns at the airport.
